Greetings to the populace of Myrgan Wood.
We are your new heirs to the coronets of the Wood, Lord Basil the Husband and Yukimura Kaen-dono. Prior to our ennoblement from obscurity you may have known us from the rapier field, range and stage. Now from the thrones we hope to make better acquaintance of all of you.
Firstly we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Crown of Avacal and to the populace of our fair barony for the confidence you have placed in us.
We do hereby seek to represent our barony with honour and chivalry. We shall serve the Crown with grace and humility and our subjects with strength and patience. We intend to be receptive to the words of the populace, the judgement of our officers and wisdom of the peers.
May the Great Elm of Myrgan Wood provide shade for our fighters and a nest for the mighty griffon.
