A Message From your Bardic Champion

Hi Myrgan Wood! Your friendly neighbourhood bardic champion here. I’m set to choose a successor at Skald the Hall. So I have some deets for anyone who wishes to wear the hood.

As you all know, I’m a dancer, and our dance shows usually have “themes,” associated with them, usually one or two words that describe the feeling we’re getting across. So I wanted to take that energy to the competition this year – the Theme will be “Meaning.” How the heck does this relate to the tournament? I’m getting there I promise.

I’m interested in seeing two bardic performances from all those vying, and I want you to pick two pieces that mean something to you – it can be “meaning,” in any way! It can be as simple as “this piece makes me happy because of xyz,” or as complicated as “it’s specifically about something very close and personal to me for this reason.” But I definitely want to hear why you picked those pieces. The pieces you pick don’t have to be period, they can be anything, but it would be cool if they were! Extra cool if they related to your persona in some way.

So, cliff notes version:

-2 bardic performances

-I want to hear what those pieces mean to you, and why you picked them

-don’t have to be period, but nice if they are

-extra nice if they relate to your persona in some way.
