Bardic
Our current Bardic Champion, Æthelbert, is seeking his successor! If you would like to vye for the honour, please have a valid membership and be willing to host the challenge for your own successor at Skald the Hall 2026.
For the Bardic Championship, Æthelbert has invited prospective performers to prepare two pieces. Different styles of bardic for each would be preferred. Those vying should be prepared for questions about their piece after their performance. Questions will be in the realm of what the piece of bardic is, who created it, and why it was chosen. Don’t stress or prepare an essay on these queries, as simple, candid answers are sufficient.
For the Bard Off, plans are initially for single elimination, though double elimination may be the order of the day if there are fewer participants, or if the crowd demands it. Prepare your best wounds, deaths and dramas. The theme will be WWE-inspired.
Youth Championship
Our current Youth Champion, Annika Ulfrdottir, seeks a successor to represent the Youths of Myrgan Wood!
A joyous noise to the youth of our barony! Like previous tournaments, all youthful hopefuls should bring two examples of something they are proud of. Is it a craft? Is it a skill? A show-and-tell interview will be held with our outgoing champion and our proud leaders. Open for all under the age of eighteen!
